Yesterday I completed a new site to sale my father 's book. For online sale, the payment method is important. When checked the Paypal features, I found the easy way for customers can buy our product quickly. It 's Paypal "Buy now" Button.
There 're some steps following:
Step 1: Register your own Paypal account (Personal or Bussiness), and verify it (if not, your account is limited for sending or receiving)
Step 2: Login to your account, select the "Merchant Services", then select the "Website Payments Standard" in the left slide-bar.
Step 3: Choose the button you want and click to create now, and follow the steps of Paypal to finish it (enter some information as price, method, account ID, shipping, item name,...). If done, you 'll get the code to integrate to your website. When customers click to it, they will be redirected to Checkout site of Paypal.
Note:
- You can custom the integration with Paypal API (see https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_api_ButtonMgrAPIIntro)
- To test the payment, using Paypal Sandbox. I created the provider account and customer account to test the payment)
- For security, when login to Paypal account, you should use the Virtual Keyboard (On Screen Keyboard in Windows).
